This in-person comprehensive 30-hour Community Mental Health Worker (CMHW) Training is designed to strengthen the behavioral-health workforce by building foundational knowledge, trauma-informed care skills, and community resource coordination capacity. The training aligns with the Florida Certification Board (FCB) competencies for Community Health Workers and incorporates best practices in communication, advocacy, and professional responsibility.

This training will consist of three days from 9:00am - 3:00pm for a total of 15 instructional hours. The training will be delivered by Tiffany Lawrence of United Community Partners, LLC in a live, instructor-led training session at Broward Behavioral Health Coalition (BBHC) inside the conference room.

Maximum participation is 25 per cohort. CSC Funded HEAL Providers Only.
