This training is for CSC-funded providers only.
HEAL provider agencies have consistently worked to meet the needs of families experiencing homelessness and those households at imminent risk of homelessness. In this capacity, provider agencies have seen an increase in referrals and engagement of homeless families. In addition, agencies have faced challenges and uncertainty in working with Broward County’s Homeless CoC and its network of care.

This session will begin by explaining the Broward County Homeless CoC, its components, processes, and system of care. With this gained understanding, participants will learn effective strategies to support families experiencing and/or at risk for homelessness. This will include the manner in which to work with the CoC. During this session, participants will also be offered the opportunity to review engaged family scenarios with CoC leadership. This session will offer practical applications and guidance for participants to use thereafter.
